General Description/Position Overview:
? Coordinates with Controller on monthly reporting package, responsible for monthly financial variance analyses and management reporting, responsible for annual budget process and re-forecasts during the year, in conjunction with the business leaders. Liaison with the business leaders in developing and reporting appropriate metrics of the business.
Specific finance responsibilities will include -
• Monthly reporting with value added variance analysis against plan, latest forecast and prior year, delivered within deadline.
• Manage relationship with accounting team for analysis purposes.
• Work with management in the business unit to understand Plan/ forecast variances.
• Responsible for the annual plan for PDR Network, provide financial leadership during the planning and budgeting process and ensure the information developed is reasonable, complete and accurate. Provide trending and
other analytics in support of the annual Strategic Planning process.
• Lead all financial aspects of the annual Planning for capex.
• Responsible for tracking and reporting on sales and other metrics.
• Assist in business case reviews and vet the ROI for PDR Network specific projects.
• Assist the Business Manager in the development of the PDR Network sales commission schemes.
• Provide support to the President and VP of Finance ad hoc projects as required.
• Possibly supervise others at a future time.
Qualifications
• Qualified Accountant with proven finance related experience.
• Self-starter, confident, team player
• Bachelors degree in finance / accounting; CPA Required, Advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years progressive financial management experience.
• Ability to develop strategic business and financial concepts.
• Experience in applying business and financial modeling techniques and interpretation of financial and accounting concepts.
