Description:
Position Overview: Manage the development and implementation of in-store and home office charitable initiatives in an effort to maximize the Company’s charitable donations and engage our clients, associates and communities around the causes we support. Work with cross functional partners to execute and support initiatives and ensure various Company priorities are coordinated properly. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key contacts at charitable organizations, always representing the Company in a professional manner.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
? Execute the company’s charitable campaigns, programs, sponsorships and events; Ensure initiatives are successful in supporting our beneficiary organizations, have a high level of engagement and are aligned with Company branding
? Identify new opportunities and external relationships to expand reach of Company’s giving
? Create and manage project plans, being accountable for the timely meeting of deadlines and ensuring follow-through on all project details; Ensure expected results are delivered
? Develop communication plans; Create and write detailed documents to direct, educate and engage associates; Script CEO and senior leadership, as necessary
? Direct internal marketing team in developing creative concepts, messages and collateral for key campaigns
? Determine and drive initiative goals, and develop methodologies to track and analyze results and effectiveness
? Build strong working relationships with cross-functional partners and senior management
? Create internal and external awareness of initiatives
? Develop budgets and negotiate vendor contracts for all charitable events; Manage Finance budgeting process including budget development/submission, accruals, and tracking of actual costs against forecast
? Collaborate with Marketing Brand partners on cause-marketing projects, as requested
? Serve as acting member of “Green Task Force” to develop the Company’s environmental efforts
? Maintain and update program and donation databases; Coordinate and facilitate sample product and gift card donations
Position Requirements:
? 5-7 years of project management and marketing/communications experience
? Strong written, organizational and communication skills.
? Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
? Ability to interact with senior executives and represent organization to external partners with a high level of professionalism.
? Highly organized with strong planning and project management skills.
? High sense of urgency, with a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
