Modis is currently seeking a qualified CCIE Certified Network Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity with our client in the San Jose, CA area. This project is expected to start within the next 2 weeks and last for an initial duration of 24 months. *Please note that qualified applicants must be eligible to work for any employer in the US without the requirement of visa sponsorship* PROJECT DESCRIPTION The CCIE Network Engineer will be working with business enterprise customers to design, implement, configure and support data networking devices and services. Candidates must have a current Cisco Certification at the Written CCIE level. Lab Certified CCIE Engineers are highly preferred. Candidates must also have a minimum of 7-10 years in-depth experience with Routers, Switches and layer 1-3 WAN Networking, including a focus on IPFR and MPLS networks. REQUIRED SKILLS - Current CCIE Certification (Written Required/Lab Preferred). *Candidates must be able to provide his or her Cisco Certification ID for verification* - Expert Routing & Switching skills with enterprise Cisco Routing equipment (6500 Catalyst, 7600, 12000 GSR) - Expert Layer 1-Layer 3 WAN skills, including IPFR, MPLS and WAN Acceleration - Expert advanced WAN Protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP) - Strong Network Design, Implementation and support skills HOW TO APPLY Qualified individuals are invited to apply for immediate consideration!
