Local candidates Position Description: Software Quality Assurance Engineer to be a key player in the quality effort of a market leader's enterprise Web based business applications. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of diversified experience in requirement analysis, documentation, and testing of Client server and Web services Applications for functionality, Integration, Regression and Performance Testing. Software Quality Assurance Engineer will perform tasks to apply and maintain quality standards and requirements to meet customer needs. Create, maintain and execute test plans, cases and scripts. Facilitate defect meetings and manage defect logs (by logging, validating, closing and communicating defects) as well as providing input on quality issues found but not covered by test cases/scripts. Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Expertise in formulating Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Data, as well as executing test. Expertise in manual AND automated QA (esp. using Test Director, QTP, Quality Center, LoadRunner) Expertise in testing Web services applications Have strong SQL skills and expertise with RDBMS. System/Functional/Requirement Gathering and Analyzing Strong documentation and test asset management skills. GUI, Functionality, System, Integration and Regression Testing. Expertise in Automation Testing Experienced in all the phases of SDLC. Expertise in mapping the test scripts to Business requirements and use cases. Expertise in documenting Test results, Test Status reports and Bug Reports. Communicating testing issues, testing updates in a clear and concise manner to Management and team leads. Very Strong analytical and problem solving techniques, presentation skills with emphasis on individual and team effort backed by excellent communication skills.
