As the trading industry continues to evolve at a rapid rate, we expect the future to present us with both great opportunities and challenges.To meet these challenges, our Client is seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer with experience in developing C++ on Unix and Windows.Responsibilities include hands-on development and unit testing of low latency trading applications, and collaborating with other people, such as traders and business analysts.Experience and Skills 7+ years C++ experience with STL, networking, in multithreaded systems Strong expertise in linux is essential, windows expertise is also valuable Experience working with ( 29w or 29 west, must have), and plus is Tibco or other messaging system is strongly preferredMust have low latency, high frequency development. Experience with boost and newer C++ technologies is strongly preferred C# 2.0+ experience with focus on GUI development is helpful MS SQL or other SQL experience is desirable Experience working on financial applications and directly working with traders is very helpful Agile software development knowledge and experience, especially Test Driven Development a strong plusAny work with CPP Unit Testing and just strong testing experience is a big plusMust have:Trading industry experience.Company will not consider candidates that have too many jobs in the past 10 yrs. as contractorsClient will discuss TESTING, and UNIT TEST PLANS on the initial phone interview. If you don't want to discuss Testing, this role is not for you.
