The company's new Digital Health Group reflects a sharpened focus on solutions for healthcare research, diagnostics and productivity, and personal healthcare. Research investments address next-generation healthcare challenges ranging from silicon-based, single-molecule detection for improved diagnosis and treatment, to sensor-based technologies to help consumers use medical technology in the home.
Responsibilities include:
In this position, the CW will be responsible to analyze, and document hardware specifications based on product requirements. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Proposing design solutions to meet specifications
Prototyping and testing solutions
Integrating subsystems and conduct engineering tests to assess performance
Participating in design reviews of work done by others
Completing product documentation and submit for approvals and entry to document control
Providing third/fourth level technical support of products
Maintaining current knowledge of DHeG Quality Management System and SOP's applicable to this job function
Maintaining current knowledge of tools and technologies associated with this job function
Understanding and applying current ISO standards, FDA, UL, FCC and other applicable regulations
Understanding and applying the Design and Development Quality Plan controlling project assignments
Developing and documenting plans before performing tasks
Applying standard operations procedures and general good practices in conducting the tasks associated with this job function
Performing all tasks in a manner consistent with the intent of the DHeG Quality Policy and business policies
Assist with lab management towards maintaining FDA certification. Participate and prepare for inspections and lab audits
Required Skills:
AS, AE degree, or equivalent experience (two years of documented work experience for every year required to complete degree plan) plus a minimum of five years of documented experience in technical product development support
Documented experience and competency in the following areas: Understanding of and adherence to the QS regulation in Part 820 of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) or understanding of and adherence to the quality requirements noted in ISO 13485
Additional Skills:
Five years of digital circuit prototyping, and debug experience of digital and/or analog circuits
Five years of experience interfacing with manufacturing engineers, customers, technical marketing engineers, material planners, and program managers
Five years of experience in schematic capture, printed circuit board layout, and expertise Allegro* and Cadence* tools
Five years of experience reading schematics and the ability to comprehend complex circuits
Five years of experience with empirical electrical measurements using DVM, oscilloscope, and others
Five years of experience circuit prototyping
Five years of experience circuit debug
Five years of experience electrical circuit identifying defect root cause
