Description:
Provide technical and engineering expertise, to develop and integrate Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS), on multiple platforms, in support of the CNS/ATM IPT within NAVAIR PMA-209. Provide engineering expertise and management, including related acquisition documentation development and technical requirements collection.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform requirements analysis to identify, document and update JPALS capability.
Provide recommendations to the JPALS PM, regarding risk reduction and Functional Plan maturation.
Provide input to the PM on the JPALS integration on Joint Air and Surface platforms.
Provide input, as directed, for the TEMP, DT, and OT in a joint environment.
Prepare and assist the PM with review activity; JROC, OIPT, DAB review, SAR and DAES Reporting, EVM.
Prepare and assist PM for all system engineering design reviews/audits.
Required Skills:
Military Tactical Data Links.
Aviation Communication Systems.
Embedded Computer Systems.
Microsoft office suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Desired Skills:
DOD Avionics Systems Specific Expertise.
