Á• Handles calls regarding general information about airline travel on JetBlue Airways
Á• Responds to emails and other correspondence regarding Company products
Á• Resolves general customer service concerns through effective customer service techniques
Á• Ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
Á• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
Á• Previous reservation and/or call center experience preferred but not required
Á• Two (2) years of customer service experience
Á• Able to type twenty five (25) words per minute
Á• Flexible and able to work at any time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Á• Provide one telephone lines and a high-speed internet connection (minimum 256K connection speed)
Á• Provide a safe and professional office-work environment, free from background noise and distraction
Á• Live within the local calling area
Á• Regular attendance and punctuality
Á• Organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun and Passion
Á• Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
Á• Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Á• Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Á• When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
Á• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, and Explorer
Á• Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communication skills
Á• Strong customer service skills to provide the JetBlue experience to every Customer, every time
Á• Excellent organizational skills
Á• Effective research skills including the ability to analyze information and make determinations in accordance with Company guidelines
Á• Ability to send and receive email correspondence
Á• Ability to initiate searches for miscellaneous travel-related information on the Internet
Á• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Á• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task
