Scope of Responsibility
Responsible for assisting with the reporting and consolidation of ESPN’s foreign subsidiaries and Joint Ventures.

Essential Functions
Assisting with preparation, reviewing, and reporting on the consolidation of ESPN’s foreign subsidiary operations and Joint Ventures. Develop and maintain close relationship with foreign office accounting personnel and monitor and ensure accurate reporting of their financial information as consolidated into ESPN’s general ledger. Prepare and maintain BS reconciliations, the intercompany accounts and ensure accurate and timely settlement of transactions.

Understand foreign subsidiary operations and provide variance analysis of actuals as compared to forecast. Review cash flow analysis and periodic funding requests. Perform annual review and reconciliation of subsidiaries audited financial statements and ensure all US GAAP differences are identified and documented. Preparation of quarterly capital reconciliations and yearly tax reports. Identify process improvement opportunities and assists with departmental projects/initiatives.


Required Qualifications
B.S. degree in Accounting and CPA preferred with a minimum of 2-3 years in public or private industry. Good communication skills are required.
