Established company in the Parsippany area is looking to hire a Staff Accoutant with costing in their background on an immediate temp to hire basis!!

This is a Staff Accountant position with primary responsibility in cost accounting. Essential job functions include: Analyze product cost records to ascertain proper cost distribution. Monitor inventory valuation and cycle count activities. Support Accounting Management to field accounting related inquiries. Analyze and prepare cost and inventory related entries on a timely basis for month end closing and perform reconciliation as appropriate. Develop product pricing, update price list and support sales quoting activities as required. Establish, review and update product costing and pricing standards. Prepare various monthly management reports in a timely manner. Participate in the Lean Manufacturing process development to ensure inventory and product cost are properly accounted for.



Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics with two years experience in Accounting in an automated manufacturing environment. The preferred candidate must have strong analytical ability and communication skills with above average PC aptitude. Exposure to online Manufacturing Cost System, PRMS is helpful. This is a Northern N.J. office based position, candidates who do not meet these qualifications or require relocation will not be considered.

This position will pay up to $20 an hour on the temporary side and a perm salary up to $55k.
