5010 and ICD-10 changes are coming! As companies continue to engage our services to assist them in the 5010/ICD-10 system changes, we will be adding to our Project Team. The project manager will help oversee the Gap Analysis projects for our clients and help them evaluate their business needs and become compliant. They will work closely with the client and our own business analysts and SMEs. The right candidate will possess a minimum of seven years of healthcare Provider or Payer experience in leadership roles; five years of in-depth, detailed project lead experience for healthcare IT projects (preferably a PMP but not required); previous gap analysis work experience; thorough understanding of HIPAA; and five years of healthcare application implementation experience. This position will require extensive travel so candidates must be willing to travel 100 percent for select project work (candidates can be based anywhere while not on projects). In addition to the above experience, special consideration will be given to those candidates who have a strong understanding of ICD-9 and are educated on how it will change with ICD-10 as well as the differences between 4010 and 5010.
