Description:
Act as a program analyst on a travel based project.
Essential Job Functions:
Select appropriate methods from a wide variety of travel procedures or makes simple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of travel guides and manuals.
Perform a variety of administrative tasks.
Recognize and solve problems within the CTA.
Serves as functional consultant; providing travel consulting and related services to assist the Government in meeting its travel needs for temporary duty travel, relocation and/or temporary/permanent change of station, etc.
Assist in the development of analysis reports, project plans, and project briefings.
Ensure conformance with work standards and quality.
Required Skills:
Familiarity with the terminology of the CTA.
Possess excellent oral and written skills, can ensure conformance with work standards, interpret policies, procedures and goals and objectives of organization.
Two (2) years of general experience in information technology and / or professional experience as a financial analyst, programmer, business/process analyst, or trainer.
Experience in analyzing change management, new requirements and proposing solutions, planning and designing upgrades to business processes, computer systems or services, planning/executing development tasks; or performing business functional/systems analysis or has experience in travel industry or training.
Desired Skills:
Use of Navy ERP, Defense Travel System and HEAT are desired.
Associates Degree and 2 years of experience or a Bachelors Degree are desired.
