Description:
Serves as technical or functional expert and Team Lead providing travel consulting and related services to the Government.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide guidance and leadership to the travel team.
Serve as expert on business functions; assessments; auditing; data collection; data analysis; operational overviews and brief preparation; per diem and allowance; performance metrics; surveys; travel card analysis/studies; or travel management.
Review and prepare business process documents and presentations.
Ensure conformance with work standards and quality.
Provide one-on-one training.
Interpret policies, procedures and goals and objectives of organization.
Review work products for quality, completeness, and adherence to user requirements.
Prepare reports, delivers presentations, and participates in meetings.
Required Skills:
Possess excellent oral and written skills.
Two (2) years of overall financial or travel management or technical leadership experience.
One (1) year of financial and/or travel systems experience with large-scale systems, client-server systems, e-commerce, or business functional/systems analysis or have experience in travel industry.
Knowledge of analysis concepts and methodologies, or experience in travel management, travel security, travel technology, or experience performing analysis of complex business processes travel or financial systems solutions or experience in providing training.
Desired Skills:
Experience using of Navy ERP, Defense Travel System (DTS), and HEAT.
Associates Degree and 7 years of experience or a Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience are desired.
