Description:
I.Position Summary:
The Specialist supports the Learning and Development department with administrative and logistical duties.
II.Essential Functions:
-Inputs and tracks all Aviation Training Management System (ATMS) records for Learning and Development
-Coordinates general administrative duties for Learning and Development, such as order food for Learning and Development team events, takes care of Learning and Development Crewmember transportation (hotel, air travel and taxis), works with Learning and Development support Crewmembers on outstanding People issues, Payroll, schedules, etc.
-Evolves and maintains Learning and Development Sharepoint site
-Manages recruiting for Learning and Development (works closely with the People Department to coordinate Learning and Development schedules, set-up for interviews, develops Position Expectations and helps interview potential candidates)
-Monitors Learning and DevelopmentÁ’s budget and coordinates monthly spending (e.g., Amex, Gelco, Alchemy, Expense Reports, invoices, cellular telephone usage, budget variance, etc.)
-Coordinates Learning and DevelopmentÁ’s onboarding process (order all computer and software equipment, set-up cube space, works with People and Payroll, set-up individual ATMS record. Communicates with new Crewmembers throughout the onboarding process. Puts together and send out Learning and Development welcome gifts
-Manages the use of the Learning and Development main classroom and coaching rooms. Ensures all equipment is working and room is clean at all times
-Manages and tracks any Learning and Development construction projects
-Orders supplies for the team and tracks against the budget
-Sets up meetings and conference calls for the Learning and Development team and outside consultants (e.g., teambuildings, RussellÁ’s facilitation class, etc.)
-Inputs data and manages the Learning and Development database
-Coordinates and executes team activities and meeting events (e.g., recognition dinners, staff meetings, strategic meetings, board meetings, etc.)
-Manages the data and sends out the Learning and Development bi-weekly status report
-Coordinates all recognition and rewards programs for Learning and Development (birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions, etc.)
-Acts as the initial contact person to field and answer questions about Learning and Development and directs requests to the appropriate person
Requirements:
III.Minimum Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
-BachelorÁ’s Degree preferred but not required
-Two (2) to three (3) years of previous administration experience
-One (1) to two (2) years of previous project management experience
-Two (2) years of previous experience in managing and tracking budget processes/programs
-Previous experience in database management (working knowledge of Access)
-Regular attendance and punctuality

-Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
-Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
-Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
-When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Work Environment:
-Normal office environment
-Will be asked from time-to-time to set up for classes which will require some manual labor (e.g., loading a cart with training materials, beverages, etc.)
Physical Effort:
-Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently. (Light)
