RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze, design, develop and maintain highly efficient processes to manage data in the Guest Master Data Management Database (GOMaster). Perform development tasks using the C programming language, SQL and Unix technology against an Oracle database. Work independently within the GOMaster team, receiving general direction with occasional work product reviews.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
* Minimum 5 years application and database development experience
* Proven strong experience of Oracle database technologies and strong understanding of SQL.
* Demonstrated experience in developing applications using C, C++ and Perl development languages.
* Proven experience developing within a UNIX environment
* Familiarity with one or more of the following; (1) XML (serialization and de-serialization) or (2) adapting ETL applications to real-time (transactional) environments through the use of queues and/or other IPC methods or (3) adapting, designing, and implementing applications in a SOA framework (Web Services, EJBs, .NET components, etc.)
* Demonstrated ability to perform on-call duties for a Tier 1 (24x7) application
* Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment including strong problem solving and decision making skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
* Demonstrated experience working in a Service-Oriented architecture
* Exposure to middleware concepts including Web Services and MQSeries products
* Demonstrated experience with .NET, XML and/or Java
* Demonstrated experience with large, operational and/or analytical Oracle databases
* Proven ability to follow and implement a strategic architecture in a complex technical environment
