RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the analysis and validation of forecasting and optimization models for revenue management systems. Design and develop forecast and optimization models. Model and analyze revenue management related issues using various mathematical and statistical techniques. Identify profit opportunities through statistical data analysis and research. Provide science calibration support for revenue management models. Develop tools to measure effectiveness of revenue management practices. Design and conduct simulation studies for comparison and benefit assessment of various forecasting and optimization models. Identify and apply best practices in field of Operations Research. Act as science consultant to all business units within the Walt Disney Company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
* Master’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, or equivalent
* Proven experience applying operations research techniques and knowledge in resource allocation, inventory, pricing or revenue management.
* Demonstrated computer proficiency with optimization, forecasting, statistical, spreadsheet and database applications
* Proven proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, Visual Basic, C++ or Java

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ph.D. in Operations Research or equivalent
