Performs data entry and processing support in medical claims payment systems. Ability to identify and analyze medical claims and insurance eligibility information.
Daily production and quality standards required as it relates to retrieval, processing and updating of data within automated internal and client systems. Operates alphanumeric keyboard for data entry.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
CPT and/or ICD-9 coding experience.
2 - 4 years of data entry / medical claims experience.
Good PC skills and the ability to work independently is a must. Basic PC skills include: MS Word, Excel and e-mail.
Fast and accurate data entry skills.
Health insurance experience desired.
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
