Contact InformationeConsultAmericaresumes@eConsultAmerica.com - EmaileConsultAmerica – Yahoo Instant MessengereConsultAmerica@skype.com – Skype Instant Messenger POSITION DETAILSThe chosen candidate will Identify, validate and develop new product opportunities for our clients’ HealthCare Nutrition product portfolio including the retail and institutional nutritional products.RESPONSIBILITIESThe chosen candidate will collaborate with Marketing Research and the Channel VPs of Marketing to develop HealthCare Nutrition's research and ideation plan and lead cross-functional teams' execution of activities to deliver that pipeline.' Conduct early-stage opportunity assessment, ideation and concept development for key HealthCare Nutrition businesses from concept development through volumetric assessment of concepts, including: acting as Marketing lead for the development of new products by providing the product profile, developing and recommending market research plans, identifying and managing hurdles to success, and providing internal status updates and launch recommendations while working closely with the established business brand groups for the Institutional and Retail teams. ' Work closely with the Operations Vice President of Capital Investment Projects to ensure successful completion of major HCN initiatives.' Manage the assessment and prioritization of existing (Product and Program Renovations) and proposed new product opportunities (Product and Program Innovations) for both the Institutional and Retail portfolios. This includes developing, managing and maintaining the Innovation and Renovation process for HealthCare Nutrition for North America working closely with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Clinical Sciences, R&D, Applications Group and Global Marketing. You will work closely with Application group head to prioritize HCN innovation and renovation projects.' Work with Global partners to feed developed concepts to the Global innovation pipeline.' Develop and manage new product and program handoff point for established business partners ensuring new product launch plans are established and in place for launch.' Track competitive new product activity and recommend HealthCare Nutrition response.' Liase between Global Innovation projects and our client’s Brand Managers to assess market opportunity for Global Innovation proposals.' Inform and update the broad organization on vision, execution and development of Innovation and Renovation pipeline from a North American perspective, working closely with the North America-based cross functional, Marketing, Sales and Leadership teams. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business required. MBA strongly preferred.5+ years in packaged goods or medical products marketing with significant new products experience preferred.Ability to rapidly learn and develop new processes is essential in this role.Ability to consolidate large amounts of data into a coherent picture and translate patient and consumer insights into leverage-able product and program concepts is required.Effectively collaborates with and leads cross-functional team members in developing and executing the new product pipelineStrong project management skills with adaptability to manage internal hurdles, changes in course, etc. to keep projects on trackSuperior analytical skillsStrong strategic thinking orientation with an ability to analyze trends and translate them into potential points of difference is required.
