We provide engineering expertiseto leading wireless carriers, technology developers, and wireless equipmentproviders around the US and abroad. We currently are looking for a veryexperienced EVDO expert for an exciting opportunity in San Diego with one ofour clients. Job description for this position is as follow: EVDO and CDMASystems Engineering and Best Practices- develop best practices, test plans,tools and reports for advanced EVDO and CDMA optimization and utilizationtechniques. Implement new wireless technologies from vendor selection to finalrollout. NewTechnology Technical Training- Develop and provide corporate structuredtechnical training to regional RF Engineering and Network Operations on newtechnologies, equipment, best practices and techniques. SpecialEngineering Studies- Presentations to senior management and otherdecision-makers on market feasibility, new technology decisions, cost-savingsinitiatives, and other significant business opportunities. BenchmarkTesting, Spectrum Clearing and Regulatory Engineering Vendor and processmanagement support- Solid understanding of benchmark data collection andanalysis, spectrum clearing analysis and FCC regulation is a requirement.Ability to negotiate with and obtain results from engineering vendors. Requirements: Bachelorsdegree in Electrical Engineering is required 7+ yearsexperience in designing and optimizing wireless networks. ProjectManagement experience 8+ Years oftechnical or management work experience 8+ yearsrelevant experience at a wireless carrier or wireless network vendor 5+ Yearswireless in one of the following Wireless disciplines: 5+ CDMA/EVDO,GSM, UMTS most recently with EVDO Good softwaredevelopment skills and presentation skills
