BASIC FUNCTION OF JOB
The Inventory Analyst position is responsible for driving and executing overall aging inventory reduction and liquidation management. This position will be empowered to negotiate and make decisions regarding aging inventory, liquidations, and returns to Insight suppliers. Strong teamwork and leadership both within the department, external departments, and with suppliers is necessary to ensure we are achieving overall goals for the company.

• Process Owner:
• Set, drive & execute liquidation strategy
• Focus on managing aging inventory for the entire Procurement Department
• Minimize use of inventory provision dollars
• Control Procurement spend within agreed budget
• Gathers Business Intelligence:
• Mentor and train MRP Analyst, Buyers, and Senior Buyers on aging inventory management
