Move currently has an opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to work out of our corporate headquarters in Westlake Village, California. This role is a senior-level technical engineering position responsible for the design, implementation, management, and monitoring of the corporate network environment, the IP Telephony infrastructure, and network security infrastructure.  The Senior Network Engineer analyzes business data flow to/from corporate systems and designs local and wide-area network architectures that meet throughput and performance requirements. The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of network and voice protocols, must have solid understanding of data center power, cooling and cabling infrastructure, and must have experience working at the Service Level, supporting high volume.

Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of network infrastructure improvements
Configure and maintain all routers and switches
Configure and maintain all firewall hardware and software
Configure and maintain all VPN hardware and software
Configure and maintain all load balancing hardware and software
Configure and maintain all wireless hardware and software
Responsible for the maintenance and enforcement of network security policies & procedures.
Responsible for research and management of vulnerabilities on network devices.
Responsible for design, maintenance, and implementation of network based intrusion detection systems
Represent the network group in the incident response team.
Responsible for leading network based investigation functions during a computer security incident
Monitor all network systems to optimize performance and to initiate avoidance actions for potential system failures
Design, implement, test and manage production Network and Telephony environments
Develop processes and tools to proactively monitor all IP Telephony and Network infrastructure to ensure performance and high availability
Assess utilization trends and make appropriate design and implementation recommendations to scale the architecture
Plan and manage all aspects of Network and Telephony related projects
Assist Operations system administrators with their tasks, when necessary
Provide 24x7 on-call support and escalation to Network and Telephony carriers
Qualifications CCIE or JNCIE certification or equivalent level of experience
Experience working in a large .COM (or similar) networking environment desired
In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS, Juniper ScreenOS/JUNOS configuration and troubleshooting across multiple platforms
In-depth knowledge of IP, IP Routing, and IP Multicasting, including VLSM, HSRP, VRRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IGMP and OER is required
In-depth knowledge of LAN Switching, including VLANs, VLAN Trunking, and Spanning Tree is required
In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies, including IPSEC, PPTP, L2TP is required.
In-depth knowledge of WANs, including MPLS, DS1 and DS3 is required
In-depth knowledge of WLANs, Aruba Mobility Controllers and Access Points desired
In-depth knowledge of firewalls, including design, maintenance, and troubleshooting is required.
In-depth knowledge of protocols, specifically web based protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, etc.
In-depth knowledge of packet monitoring or sniiffers, such as Wireshark. 
In-depth knowledge of network based attacks, network device vulnerabilities, and vulnerability management on network devices.
Knowledge of Server Load balancing technologies and algorithms (NetScaler) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of WAN Optimization technologies (Riverbed) is desirable.
Must have a solid understanding of VoIP (Avaya, Cisco, etc)
Knowledge of SNMP and system/traffic monitoring tools like Nagios, Cacti, SiteScope, TACACS, SolarWinds, CACE Pilot-Wireshark, etc. is highly desirable
Basic knowledge of Unix and MS Windows operating systems required
Basic knowledge of virtualization and system partitioning technologies including VMWARE
Strong experience deploying and managing modern storage architectures including SAN and NAS technologies, data replication technologies and file systems is a must.
