Unison Systems has an immediate need for a "Classic" Systems Engineer. This individual will be well versed in a variety of technical domains and has demonstrated breadth of knowledge across many telecommunications business disciplines with potentially unique knowledge in the areas of ordering, billing, repair, network, and service assurance.

Must have demonstrated work experience including:

- Working with business teams to translate Business Requirements to Technical Requirements.

- Demonstrated ability deliver innovative business consulting, business process design, systems integration, and application design.

- Demonstrated IT Engineering work experience to include all of the following: design, integration, maintenance and support of development environments as well as infrastructure in order to optimize the development efficiency of the various product teams.

- Assist in the procurement, installation, and deployment of new software to improve or extend the development environment.

- Working with customers to understand the current and future business operational needs.

- Working with the business to identify where improvements may be realized via manual processes versus technology solutions and fully understanding the impacts and ramifications of the decisions to be made.

- Aligning and balancing the business needs with industry standards and trends where appropriate as they relate to new operational models and technical capabilities.

- Translating the needs of the business into system capabilities in the form of system requirement specifications and managing those requirements via a rigorous requirements management processes.

- Designing the high-level system concepts to identify system components and their interfaces.

- Stewarding development teams, mentoring and working with providers of technology to ensure they adhere to the overall solution.

- Working with customers to identify and mitigate technical risks through a structured Risk Management process.

- Verifying the solution outcome matches to the solution definition.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Related Field

- 5+ yrs of Systems Engineering Work Experience

- MS Degree Preferred

- Must have demonstrated work experience working with business units to translate Technical Requirements to Business Requirements and vice versa

Location: Downtown Denver, CO

Contract: 6 month contract with the possibility of permanent hire

Hourly Pay: $45-55/hr W2
