Responsibilities:
·
UI functionality
·
Solving unique and even undocumented programming problems.
Requirements:
·
5+ years hands-on experience in full development life cycle software development, predominately in User Interface development.
·
(X)HTML and CSS with an emphasis on CSS-driven page layouts.
·
JavaScript (including object-oriented JS), using jQuery or comparable libraries.
·
Familiarity with best-practices for usability and accessibility standards.
·
Proficiency in a server-side scripting language such as JSP, PHP, or ASP
·
Experience with Perforce, SVN, CVS or other version control system
·
Familiarity with bug-tracking software
·
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any type) or a related field or equivalent work experience
Desired skills:
•
Experience with the integration and use of a third-party JavaScript library such as: jQuery, Prototype, DOJO, etc
•
Experience in creating standalone, JavaScript-based UI widgets.
•
Java/J2EE server-side development
•
Experience with banking or financial online applications and/or high traffic eBusiness websites.
