Description:
Immediate 6 month project, with the possibility of an extension! We are seeking a skilled Sr. Project Manager who has experience managing Allscripts projects. Located in Phoenix, our client is looking for folks that do not require travel expenses. Duties include typical PM duties - resource allocation, budgeting, tracking, driving projects, etc.
Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques. Use PPM for status reporting, request and manage resources, manage changes to scope, cost or resources.
Experience and Education
- Ability to manage a complex multi-year, multi-threaded project
- Ability to engage with the Senior Executive, Management, Hospital, Physician and other Clinical staff
- 10+ years or more of large project or program management experience recommended
- Proven ability to manage people, process and technology activities on large complicated system implementation projects
- Familiarity with ARRA Stimulus Incentives and Meaningful Use Criteria
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the Implementation team, from Executive Steering committee to Clinical Staff
- Experienced at managing cross functional and matrixed teams (facility and IT)
- Experienced at managing vendor implementation and support teams
- Experience with Clinical Quality, Management and Operations Measures for Physician Clinics
- Executive meeting facilitation
- Experience managed project budget > $5M

Preferred
- Deep understanding of the technical and business components of the solution (Allscripts)
- Familiarity with the structure, setup and operations of Ambulatory Clinics
- Experience with the Hospital and Clinic Systems
- Experience overseeing quality and thoroughness of project deliverables
- Knowledge of PPM (HP Portfolio Project Management)
- PMI Certified
