Position Responsibilities:
- Supervision and management of a team of Asset Management personnel and/or special projects that relate to the asset management and servicing of an assigned portfolio of multifamily loans originated by M&TRCC for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, GNMA and other third party investors.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for asset management and servicing staff to ensure compliance with the requirements of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, GNMA and other third party investors.
- Oversee the property inspections process to assess the physical condition of the properties in the portfolio and assure compliance with internal and external investor requirements and deadlines; will require travel;
- Oversee quarterly and annual financial statement analysis, including the review and analysis of operating statements, rent rolls and other documents relating to the financial condition of the properties in the portfolio pursuant to investor requirements;
- Review and approve draw requests completed by the Asset Managers for replacement reserve, completion/repair and construction draw requests submitted by Borrowers for disbursement from escrow accounts and loan proceeds;
- Provide leadership, assistance and guidance to the Asset Managers and servicing staff to help them resolve problems and issues encountered in their jobs.  Handle additional customer requests as required.
Basic Skills Required:
:- Five or more years of Asset Management or underwriting experience relating to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or FHA  Multifamily lending;
- Credit and financial analysis skills relating to multifamily and/or commercial real estate;
- Multifamily Property Inspection experience;
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of  5 years of equivalent  work experience, including supervisory experience;
- Experience with various computer software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ideal Skills:
- Construction loan administration experience;
- Commercial loan workout experience
