Services include requirements analysis, engineering, facility and systems design, systems integration and installation, customization, programming, maintenance, support, translation and interpretation, and training. Duties and responsibilities • Coordinate meetings with Government of Afghanistan ministries and departments, foreign government organizations, and key U.S. Government civilian and military personnel contractors. • Maintain a separate suspense log for each Government of Afghanistan ministry and department to ensure all action items are captured. • Develop a suspense log and call plan for each Government of Afghanistan ministry and department to ensure all action items are captured. • Develop a suspense log and call plan for each foreign government organization and the corresponding working group or sub-working group. • Ensure that action items are accomplished on time. Requirements • Previous experience as a Customs or Border Patrol officer is required. • Background and work experience with U. S. border control or customs Agencies/Departments is required. • Supervisory experience with U. S. border control or customs Agencies/Departments is required. • Experience as an instructor is required. • Experience as a customs or border management mentor, advisor or liaison outside of the United States is highly desired. • Experience working within Islamic Middle Eastern or Southwest Asian society and government officials is desired, but not required. • Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance and pass a background check as a condition of employment.
