Description:
Summary:
Perform a variety of banking office tasks to promote service excellence, provide assistance to Branch Sales Bankers, and perform related duties to include but not limited to perform sales and/or teller duties as required to achieve banking office goals.

Responsibilities:
Acknowledge and greet customer courteously to determine purpose of the visit and either handle customer service needs or refer the customer to the appropriate personnel/area.
Stays abreast of operational and product changes.
Monitors the timely and proper processing and clearing of General Ledger Suspense account items.
Reviews and follows up on management reports e.g. OD, Kite Vector 8, etc. in a timely manner.
Completes required audits of consignment items and general ledger tickets.
Follows up on exception items e.g. missing IRA documentation, issue no pays on traveler's checks and cashier checks, etc.
Reviews documentation on all new deposit accounts to ensure proper procedures were followed, and red flags were properly followed up and approved.
Coordinates the completion of all fraud packages.
Answer telephones, type correspondence and communicate via fax/computer when necessary.
Completes name and address changes and other mail requests received within the banking office.
Orders checks, deposit books, debit cards, money bags, and other necessary bank supplies to meet the customer needs.
Responsible for the daily operations of the Safe Deposit Boxes; including but not limited to vault assistance, payment processing, maintenance, collections and assisting with annual audit.
May process loan application, loan documents, loan tickets schedule loan closing, work loan exceptions to complete proper loan process.
Explains product benefits, changes, restrictions, requirements and any other relevant product information to customer. May refer any sales opportunities to the Branch Sales Banker.
Ensures audit/and security policies and procedures are followed during customer service hours and at banking office openings and closings.
Responsible for performing teller and sales duties as needed to achieve banking goals.
Maintain customer files and banking office files.
Responsible for quarterly reconciliation of the travelers checks statement.
Completes all other job-related duties as assigned. These may include, but are not limited to, responsibility for the branch’s supply of bulk cash in the absence of a central teller, acting as a personal banker as needed, operating a teller window when necessary, conducting audits of general ledger suspense tickets, supervising platform personnel in the absence of the Customer Service Manager and/or Branch Manager, etc.

Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• 2 years of customer service experience
