Our client is in the medical device industry and they are actively seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator who is fluent in mandarin.

The logistics coordinator will work with the logistics team to manage the supply chain which includes working with foreign manufacturers, customs brokers, carriers, warehouses, sales and a global customer base.

Job Responsibilities:
Managing direct imports and deliveries to US and foreign clients as well as our distribution business from warehouses.

Executing the documentation and transit associated with these imports with manufacturers, regulating bodies and customers.

Creation of purchase order and related documents using Navision.

Work with sales and accounting departments for cost analyses.

Inventory forecasting and management.

Maintain inventory reports and shipment schedules

Understanding of import regulations

Job Requirements:
Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is a must.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
2 years minimum work experience in logistics at an import firm
Familiar with FDA regulations.

Superior analytical skills to quickly and accurately assess preferred method of importing and distributing goods.

Strong mathematical skills.

Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Characteristics: Detail oriented, methodical, precise, prioritizes quickly.

Requirements:
Must have at least three years recent experience with no more than two jobs in last five years

Education: Associate

Experience: 3-5 Years
