Job Summary:
Leads and performs preventative maintenance and maintenance efforts of equipment. Examines machines to diagnose trouble and make necessary adjustments to ensure a safe, efficient, and accurate operation. Performs duties and tasks of production laborer.
Job Responsibilities:
Schedules and carries out preventative maintenance on equipment. Maintains logs of maintenance repairs and equipment usage. Performs troubleshooting of equipment using technical manuals and other resources. Determines if repair or replacement is necessary.
Completes miscellaneous maintenance work such as installing of hardware components and storage equipment.
Trains staff on proper usage of equipment and how to maintain and complete minor repairs.
Performs production line work to include quality control, scooping of bottles, folding boxes, lifting onto pallets, etc. May assist with cleaning, moving of pallets, and filling of supplies, etc.
Job Requirements:
Combination of education in equipment/maintenance repair and/or field experience to equal four years.
Basic knowledge of schematic prints as it pertains to manufacturing equipment.
Ability to perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on all types of small and large equipment.
Ability to drive a forklift or obtain certification within 90 days.
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
