IT Labs needs a Network Software Engineer. Candidate must debug and automate installation and configuration processes to load open source and client code for a high speed router on standard dual-NHM servers. Include special work hours, if any.
Responsibilities include:
Work interdependently with researchers and engineers to problem solve implementation and develop automated process for installation process
Must be able to manage own schedule for on-time delivery of work product
Required Skills:
Debug and script network configuration of equipment
Understand networking environments
Scripting in a Linux environment
C++ for Click work (http://read.cs.ucla.edu/click/)
Additional Skills:
Experience with software development environments (make, cvs, subversion, etc)
