Description:
Principal Engineer Kraft Foods, Inc. is currently seeking a Principal Engineer to work in its Grocery business unit located in Tarrytown, NY. As a Principal Engineer, you will serve as the primary contact for all process technologies associated with the North American Desserts businesses and will oversee all process development programs across Ready to Eat (RTE) and Dry Packaged (DPD) desserts, confections, baking ingredients and whipped topppings. You will also have the opportunity to link with and offer expert consultation to our European and Latin American dessserts business from time to time. Specific responsibilities for this role include: The individual will need to work closely with the Product Development team for all Growth, Quality and Margin initiatives, with the Manufacturing team on asset strategy and implementation, and the Quality team on product design and conformance. The individual should be intimately knowledgeable in the area of UHT & pasteurization thermal processing, emulsion/liquid processing, aeration and aseptic compliance & regulation, familiar with dry mix process and command strong relationships with Manufacturing and Engineering.
