Quantcast is looking for a talented software developer who is well versed in front-end web technologies and has a track record of delivering under tight deadlines. This position is on our Core Development team and works on a product that's the culmination of a multi-terabyte data pipeline. The developer would be responsible for implementing new features and releasing new iterations of our site. The Core team is responsible for making sure that end users can access massive amounts of data in the form of engaging, intuitive tools and features. This is an opportunity to work with cutting edge web technologies, solving hard problems with a team of smart, dedicated engineers. Responsibilities -Design and Implement new features to internal and external facing Quantcast sites -Develop production code that is top of its class in terms of quality, efficiency, and elegance. Quantcast is mainly a Java shop working on a Linux platform. Requirements -Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field -Desire to learn and implement new technologies -Demonstrated background and accomplishments working with highly available web applications or services -Strong desire to write excellent efficient code and take ownership of projects -Ability to accomplish tasks efficiently while always thinking about the end goal Technologies -Excellent object oriented programming skills (preferably Java) -Experience working with Java / JSP and JavaScript - JQuery experience a plus -Solid grasp of XHTML/CSS and table-less implementation -Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, or DB2 -Experience working with GWT a plus About Us Quantcast measures and organizes the world’s audiences in real-time so advertisers can buy, sell and connect with the people who matter most to them.
