An Accounts Receivable Clerk verifies and posts accounts receivable transactions to journals, ledgers and other records. Sorts and files documents after posting. Follows established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc. May prepare bank deposits. Requires understanding of bookkeeping procedures. 2-3 years work experience required in role.
