This Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position features:

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for answering the phones, greeting visitors, providing general office and secretarial support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Relieve management of administrative duties
2. Compose correspondence/reports for own or managements signature
3. Maintain Accounting Deadline Calendar for Controller
4. Answer telephone and route calls where needed
5. Greet visitors and arrange amenities as needed
6. Assist in creating files when needed
7. General filing when needed
8. Duplicate/copies material as needed
9. Receive and distribute mail
10. Take mail to post office
11. Maintaining files
12. Make coffee/tea and clean break room
13. Order office supplies
14. Notarize documents
15. Run errands
16. Other office tasks as needed
17. Other projects as requested by the President
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient in software programs including Word, Excel and Access
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including situations in which opposition may be expected
Attention to detail, use of correct spelling and grammar
Have clean driving record
Ability to learn new tasks
Ability to effectively plan and organize in order to accomplish tasks within the normal workday
Ability to work effectively and make decisions under time pressure and in ambiguous circumstances
Ability to work effectively with co-workers and to remain calm in disputes or while working under pressure
Ability to work independently and be proactive in obtaining information necessary to carry out job duties
Ability to analyze issues, utilize logical reasoning and make decisions to carry out job duties

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Environment is that of a general office. Ability to sit and operate personal computer for significant periods of time. Bending and some light lifting. Ability to concentrate mentally for long periods of time. Ability to maintain regular attendance and work during scheduled work hours in the specified office.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position is primarily a Monday through Friday job, eight hours per day. Some overtime may be required from time to time.
