Ability to generate construction plan-sets and specifications. Degree in Engineering: electrical, mechanical or civil*Pluses: Hands-on construction experience is a plus. Product design experience is a plus.What you'll be doing: Executing design work for the Solar Power Plant Division. Taking detailed measurements of proposed solar system sites. Creating layouts and detailed designs of PV systems. Working with Structural and Electrical Engineering consultants on executing code-compliant designs. Generating system specifications and preparing bid documents. Generating permit packages. Building detailed Bills of Materials. Analyzing construction methodologies and cost structures. Interacting with and overseeing the work of subcontractors. Serving as the project manager for large-scale PV System Integration projects. Performing cost analysis projections and reports. Working with the project sales personnel on presentations and technical matters.
