Description:
Duties: Manage a team of Architects and provide technical assistance Define project scope and requirements Insure compliance with company standards Completion of projects on time including creation of database objects, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, database and application tuning, security, backup strategies and capacity planning Maintain Enterprise data model repository using Erwin Model Mart; publish data models on the web. Define tasks and design system architecture for new implementations Follow change management procedures between test, development, assurance and production environments Support development and production systems Assist developers with application design and performance tuning Staff management Requirements: 10+ years experience with relational database design and administration Demonstrated experience with technical architecture design and development of enterprise-wide applications and databases Oracle experience required - emphasis on data modeling, analysis and deployment Erwin skills mandatory including Oracle 10g RAC 3-5 years minimum management/leadership experience Experience with design of large databases (100+ tables) and 2+TB Working knowledge of applications development in a distributed database environment Excellent communication skills BS Degree; Masters a plus
