DTI has an immediate need for a 3G Data Translations Engineer for a 24month contract opportunity in Atlanta, GA.Project Description: Alcatel/Lucent 3G T1 Adds - Perform all duties listed below as a member of a team with national responsibility for the provisioning associated with the growth of the 3G Network. Job Description: o Add/Expand IuB links for existing Alcatel/Lucent Node B equipment in the 3G network. o Perform specific job tasks including: o Create, Prepare, Validate and Execute scripts to be run in the RNC, Node B and MSN(Aggregator) &/or make changes via GUI interface. o Complete Pre and Post checks of all systems including Health Checks, etc. o Create/Prepare/Update Work Orders, Trouble Tickets, Status Reports o Troubleshoot and Operate all 3G Network Systems/Components. o Demonstrates high proficiency - and is able to assist others in resolving complex &/or chronic problems in the 3G Network. o Act in a leadership role to provide guidance and support to other team members, internal customers and other operations groups (ie MSC, RNOC and ATS). o Perform all responsibilities without assistance and with minimal or no supervision.
