DTI has an immediate need for a 3G/Telco Provisioning Engineer with experience with Graniteworx for a 12month contract opportunity in Atlanta, GA.Project Description:Project exists to support the newly formed PCO responsibility in the 3G provisioning space and to facilitate the transition of work between the MPC and PCO groups using primarily the Graniteworx tool. The desired person must av experience in the following: Granite Xpercom Granite Xperweb Granite XNG Granite Worx Alanta, GA based candidates ONLY! Required Skills: Detail-oriented and task driven Experience with circuit provisioning through telephone companies Self Starter Ability to work without direct supervision Good communications skills Excel/spreadsheet experience Competencies: Must understand T1 circuits Must have an understanding of network operations and a good comprehension of circuit/equipment turn-up and activation process Must have experience performing data entry into the Granite system Must have some exposure to DACS equipment from Alcatel and Tellabs Former telecommunications experience is a major plus. Responsibilities: Verify MATT is populated only with T1s with LTT completion in Granite Works Post SPC critical milestone date with actual date in Granite/Granite Works Post results, jeopardy code and notes in Granite/Granite Works Verify Granite Works updates the Granite path and segment to "active" Verify Granite Works enables the DACs port as an alarmable element in NetCool When SPC critical date is changed to complete, verify the ISD date is updated to complete Required Skills: 1) Detail Oriented Expert Required 2) Task Driven Expert Required 3) Telecom Circuit Provisioning Intermediate Required 4) Self Starter Expert Required 5) Communication Skills Expert Required 6) Excel/Spreadsheet Expert Required 7) Granite Xpercom Intermediate Required 8) Granite Xperweb Intermediate Required 9) Granite XNG Intermediate Required 10) Granite Worx Intermediate Required Duration: 12MonthsLocation: Atlanta, GARate: $42.00Hr.
