SQL Server Database Developer

Description:
A growing company in the South East Phoenix, AZ area is looking for a junior to mid level SQL Server Database Developer. This person will be designing SQL Server databases for various applications and will design and program complex queries. The Developer will tailor these designs for optimal performance, scalability, security, and maintainability. Work will be with Visio, database design (normalize/denormalize, RDBMS, etc). Solid T-SQL experience is required. This person will work collaboratively with project team members to design, test, evolve, and support the application's data schemas. To qualify, you must have the following requirements: Maximum of 2-4 years of experience in designing databases for OLTP and OLAP application Design and program complex queries Ability to tailor these designs for optimal performance, scalability, security, and maintainability Strong knowledge of Visio, database design (normalize/denormalize, RDBMS, etc) T-SQL DTS, and Stored Procedures Excellent verbal and written communications skills Ability to work collaboratively with project team members to design, test, evolve, and support the application's data schema(s) Plusses: Knowledge, good experience writing VB.NET applications using ADO.NET to manipulate database would be a plus Some experience with Analysis Services and Reporting Services Knowledge of XML Documents and storage of Documents (XML, Docs, TXT, etc.) Familiar and Encapsulating Access to a Database For consideration, please send your resume to (see below)
