COBOL Developer - HL7 and Healthcare experience required! 6 month contract available with a stable company based in Charlotte, NC area! Our client is seeking a COBOL/CICS developer that will code, test and implement for project and maintenance requests. Candidates must have recent HL7 experience to qualify. This resource will be working on hospital patient accounting applications. Key Responsibilities: -Be able to analyze technical specifications and perform appropriate coding, testing and implementation. -Test all coding/program modifications for accuracy and completeness. -Document/flow chart all project related flow and procedures as it relates to project work. -Evaluate and modify existing programs while taking in changes in system requirements as well as hardware configurations. Qualifications -Over 10 years of COBOL experience preferred -Over 5 years of CICS, VSAM, DB2 experience -SAS experience is a plus! -Industry experience in healthcare billing (provider side) is a plus.
