Position Description: The Software Programmer is a position requiring 10+ years of experience in software development, at least 7 of which have been in Microsoft technologies. Must have demonstrated expert level .NET programming experience developing Windows Web Applications and Web Services. Experience must be strong with C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET and Web Services. This position involves organizing, planning, and implementing a large, complex .NET application and performing project technical requirements, design, development and testing tasks in a development team using an Agile Development Methodology. Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Current releases of C#, ASP.NET .NET Web Applications development. Current release of C#, ASP.NET ADO and ADO.NET application development in SQL server Designing and writing .NET applications that use Web Services, SOAP and HTTP. Developing on an Agile development team. Unit Testing using tools such as MSTest, NUNIT and/or JUNIT, Automated builds using NANT and/or ANT. Design and development of n-tier applications. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience: MS Project Server API/web services development Windows Communication Foundation XML (utilization via DOM and/or SAX, XPATH, XML Schemas, XSLT) VB.NET Microsoft Access Oracle IIS Multithreaded application development CVS or Subversion
