3M Imtec is seeking an individual to assume global responsibility and leadership for the 3M Imtec Supply Chain and Sourcing organization and activities. Seeking a candidate who is self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must and proven ability to work cohesively on teams comprised of a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Oversee/lead all supply chain, production/material control, and purchasing activities.
Organize global buy planning / S&OP activities
Apply Lean Six Sigma to identify, define, and implement new systems and process improvements aimed at service improvement, inventory/cycle time reduction, and cost reduction.
Supervise department personnel through implementation of human resources policies including hiring, resource allocation, training/development, and performance reviews.
Minimize inventories by establishing accurate forecasts and strong supplier relationships.
Evaluate and forecast future systems requirements.
Review and ensure attainment of established targets for cost, cash, and service.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
