Description:
The role of the W2W Sales Representative is to grow the customer's and Kraft Foods' business at the retail level through the use of enhanced processes and tools such as a customized, in-store weekly agenda (DSDP) (if applicable in territory), order management system, store level metrics, improved communication and customer team linkage.  Through selling, planning, ordering and distribution, as well as effectively managing all in-store execution (e.g. merchandising, shelving and pricing), the W2W SR acts in an expert sales role to retail stores.  The W2W SR exploits selling opportunities at the retail level consistent with company programs and strategies to positively influence the sale of Kraft Foods products across the entire business portfolio (Warehouse and DSD).  This clear and complete store ownership enables the W2W Sales Rep to deliver sales objectives, improve store level relationships, identify more selling and display opportunities, improve scaleable retail execution and provide an overall, higher level of customer satisfaction.   Primary Responsibilities: Sell business-building in-store merchandising programs (i.e. cross-merchandising) to key store personnel by using consumer and trade information that addresses the customer's needs.
Develop and maintain a complete knowledge of Kraft Foods products, sales systems, and procedures, including:  sales objectives, campaigns and promotions, sales brochures and order guides, sales presentations, sources of product and distribution, space management programs and uses, and proper merchandising.
Perform store level planning by tailoring programs and fact-based sales presentations to the customer's needs, store demographics, and the current consumer base in order to drive Kraft Foods and customer growth.
Develop strong business relationships with store management to provide exceptional service and value.
Work with customer to ensure sufficient product is ordered to support customer take away, including from incremental racks and displays. 
Leverage relationships with SSRs by providing clear and effective direction/guidance with respect to replenishment activities to ensure merchandising performance standards are achieved.
Monitor and report on competitive activity.
Perform job in a safe and professional manner by observing applicable environmental, health & safety rules, procedures, laws and accepted safe work practices.
Monitor sales versus objective for the territory.
Effectively manage merchandising resources and hours within budget to support sales volume on the territory.
