ASSISTANT FACILITY MANAGER
We are seeking results-oriented management candidates with prior parking management experience for an Assistant Facility Manager opportunity at Denver International Airport (position referred to as Operations Manager on-site and by client). The airport is a 24/7 operation, so flexibility with your work schedule is required (days of the week, shifts), given your schedule may change week to week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the management of the day-to-day activities of the assigned location.
• Supervise cashiers and frontline staff to ensure appropriate customer interaction.
• Supervise the completion of all closing reports.
• Monitor and implement effective revenue control procedures.
• Assist with the daily data entry of the revenue reports.
• Conduct garage and facility audits to ensure vehicles are authorized to be in facility.
• Compile and interpret reports on a daily basis for the operation of the facility.
• Perform other necessary functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Education Required: A four-year business degree (i.e. Business Administration, Management, Personnel Management and Accounting) is a strong plus.
o Credit for an Associates degree and prior experience in managing a parking operation would be applied toward educational requirements.
• Experience Required: Desire a minimum of six months worth of experience in the service industry (parking industry preferred), but not required. At least one year of supervising or managing a parking operation at a public parking facility a strong plus.
• Intermediate computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Superior communication skills verbal and written.
• Must be proactive with strong personal drive and proven customer service skills and must be willing to lead by example.
• May be required to stand for 8-hour shifts while managing employees.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
