Company Job Title: Logistics Lead- NJ (Contingent)Chenega Job Title: Logistician IIIClearance: SecretLocation: Fort Monmouth, NJReports To: Program ManagerFLSA Status: Full-time, ExemptPrepared Date: 10/27/2009Approved Date: 10/27/2009*********Position is Contingent upon Award and Funding of Contract***********Summary:The employee will be responsible to provide all planning, organization, guidance and execution, and management oversight for the mapping, disassembly, movement, unpacking, and reconstitution of the Army C4ISR organization relocation from Ft Monmouth, NJ to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.There will be Moderate travel involved in this position.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position1. Provide senior logistics support to the C4ISR BRAC.2. Supports the project manager and program manager in the performance of logistical tasks.3. Provide support and oversight of logistics plan development for integration, equipment, vehicles, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government Furnished Documentation (GFD), and supply chain management to include procurement and storage.4. Apply all elements of logistics and related logistic areas to the US Army lifecycle planning and support.5. Requires knowledge of performance based logistics to utilize innovative logistical support concepts and logistics modeling techniques to predict maintenance and provision in levels and associated costs.6. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and Life Cycle Supportability to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.7. Develops plans, assesses facility, oversees movement operations, and conducts training for personnel involved in the movement, disassembly/assembly and reconstitution of multiple sets of equipment.8. Ability to develop and write clear and concise safety plans in support of the BRAC relocation effort.9. Capable of developing and writing detailed logistics policies and procedures.10. Other duties as assigned.SupervisionThere will be supervisory responsibilities assigned, as necessary.Minimum QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.• A valid US Driver's License.• Previous exposure to BRAC sites or other transitions or moves is ideal.• Logistics Lead will be part of a team responsible for the Program management and Logistics management involved with the pending BRAC on Fort Monmouth.Education and/or Experience• BS Degree is desired from an accredited college and/or 10 years equivalent experience/combined education and professional experience in Army Logistics Management field.• Experience with Vendor Managed Inventory and Just-in-Time inventory supply acquisition processes.• Experience performing cost benefit analysis and initiating business process improvements.Computer SkillsMicrosoft OfficeCertificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance: • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.Chenega Corporation is an EOE.
