Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an hourly role. This role is responsible for reserving and managing air travel arrangements for all Disney Cruise Line Crew Members for both repatriation and rejoining dates based on contract requirements. They must optimize the travel arrangements by securing the most appropriate air flights at the lowest available fare based on contracted rates while ensuring all ARC and airline mandates are adhered to. Additionally, this role must maintain crew members flight information, issue air tickets and invoices and must also partner with Shipboard officers/crew and Human Resources personnel to communicate all travel arrangements and make updates/changes as required by the operation. This Cast Member will also assist the Corporate and Crew agents in gathering and updating all content logs of travel changes within the department. They are also required to compile and manage all financial reporting and communicate the resulting findings to upper management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
* High school degree or equivalent
* Travel Agent or Airline Experience
* Experience with an Airline reservation system, preferable Amadeus
* Booking/Managing International/Domestic flight arrangements
* Airline pricing experience, including experience reading/deciphering airline contracts
* Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
* Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills, proven ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
* Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated problem solving skills and decision making skills
* Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Ability to troubleshoot operational issues
