Description:
An industry leader with the most convenient access to consumer goods and services, and pharmacy, health and wellness services, is seeking certified Pharmacy Technicians for their state-of-the-art call center in South Orlando.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Demonstrate ability to provide customers with courteous, friendly, accurate and efficient service. Ensuring that inquiries are handled to the satisfaction of the customer and be able to meet department’s performance standards and goals to include: quality, productivity and teamwork. Areas of expertise include the following.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts review of candidate prescriptions in an order.
• Assists Pharmacists in placing calls to physician offices.
• Reviews order to verify all necessary documentation is included.
• Updates physician records when and where appropriate.
• Prepares the prescriptions orders for the Pharmacist’s review.
• Responds in a timely and courteous manner to all inbound calls and emails.
• Complies with all local, state, federal, and professional regulations of the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision of leaders.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all computer systems.
• Contacts dispensing locations for proper refill fulfillment.
• Resolves all plan rejections or issues prior to order processing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent Attendance.
• 4 years plus experience working in a customer service call center.
• Ability to respond to customers professionally and courteously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills using Windows.
• Dependable with strong work ethic.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Problem solving ability.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Working knowledge of Promise, Intercom, Plus, and A/R.
• Experience dealing with health care plans
• Working knowledge of email procedures and etiquette.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (Tested)
• Able to type at a minimum speed of 35 – 40 wpm (Tested)
• Ability to read and understand prescriptions (Tested)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Certified Pharmacy Technician
