Description:
with a large, well-established meat distribution company. Serious inquiries only. This position requires at least 8 years of experience in the meat distribution industry in a sales and purchasing position. This person must be experienced in beef, pork, and poultry. Emphasis on poultry required!
Purchasing: accomplish various purchasing assignments that are fairly complicated in nature. Requires ability to understand material requirements and choose from several options. Compares prices and makes vendor selections or suggestions, arranges delivery schedules, etc...
Sales: will be selling to food service companies, distributors, retail warehouses, and customers. Week will consist of work in the office, field work, customer visits, and attending manufacturer visits. Market and sell products, develop relationships with new and existing clients, and provide information to maximize sales volume.
Time management, scheduling skills, and customer service experience is an integral part to this position. Bilingual a major plus!!!
