Company Job Title: Senior Engineer -MD (Contingent)Chenega Job Title: Engineer VII, GeneralClearance: Secret or aboveLocation: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MDReports To: Program ManagerFLSA Status: Full-time, ExemptPrepared Date: 10/27/2009Approved Date: 10/27/2009*********Position is Contingent upon Award and Funding of Contract***********Summary:The employee will be responsible to provide all planning, organization, guidance and execution, and management oversight for the mapping, disassembly, movement, unpacking, and reconstitution of the Army C4ISR organization relocation from Ft Monmouth, NJ to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.There will be Moderate travel involved in this position.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position1. Develop, test, and deliver configuration and logistics management systems designed to provide clients with logistics technology that ensures effective and economical support for manufacturing or servicing of products, systems or equipment.2. Ability to solve advanced technical, complex issues.3. Analysis of government logistics requirements, including in-depth knowledge of government supply, material, and engineering management, transportation, or logistics systems, capabilities, and processes as stipulated in the requirements.4. Will provide planning, organization, guidance and execution, and management oversight for the mapping, disassembly, movement, unpacking, and reconstitution of the Army C4ISR organization relocation of pre-determined sites.5. Develops plans, assesses facility engineering requirements, oversees movement operations, and conducts training for personnel involved in the movement disassembly/assembly and the reconstitution of multiple sets of equipment.6. Ability to write clear and concise plans in support of the BRAC relocation effort.7. Other duties as assigned.SupervisionThere may be some supervisory responsibilities assigned, as necessary.Minimum QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.• A valid US Driver's License.• Previous exposure to BRAC sites or other transitions or moves is ideal.• Engineer Lead will be part of a team responsible for the Program management and Engineering management involved with the pending BRAC on Fort Monmouth.Education and/or Experience• Bachelor's Degree is required with 5-10 years of experience in related field.• Experience with analyzing and designing applications is necessary.• Previous exposure to BRAC or other transitions or moves is ideal.Computer SkillsMicrosoft OfficeCertificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance: • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or above.Chenega Corporation is an EOE.
