Are you a hands-on professional with certifications and experience in the EHS field? 3M Unitek is currently seeking a hands-on professional with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related science/engineering field. Five years in the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) field. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Applicable environmental certifications (i.e. ISO 14000 Auditor, HazWoper, CHMM, etc.) are desirable. The position of EHS Engineer located in Monrovia, California will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties and skills: Provide EHS expertise and contribute to the compliance effort related to Corporate, State, and Federal EHS policies and regulations.
Support EHS and Security directives in a timely manner, leading to the successful completion of projects.
Assist in the development and implementation of programs designed to continuously improve key EHS metrics.
Possess exceptional organizational, record keeping, analytical, problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with proven project management skills.
